The advantage of a note-taking device in this era is having one device to carry around. It's not like in the nineties where I carried a standalone GPS unit my phone and a no taking device. Although it would be cool to see the new note Acres out in the market today, I believe for me having a braille display connected to my devices is enough. I'm not worried about carrying both devices as I have to carry my phone and my came anyways. I would probably purchase is smaller display for this reason.
