[nabs-l] Braille Music

Hi Jordan,

As others suggested, the Hadley course for learning Braille music is available.  I did not learn Braille music this way, so I can't tell you personally how strong the course is.  NLS also has plenty of Braille music materials, including a Braille music Primer and other learning books.

As for recordings...  I think you want to stay away from them when you're first learning.  Once you can hear the beginnings of melodies in your head or at least identify enough notes to read along at a slow clip, you should get out a recording you know and check to see if you can identify the notes you hear as you read them.  So, yes, you find the piece of music in Braille of the recording you play.
