Hello Federation Family,



                  I hope all is well.  This is Tarik Williams sending
greetings from Louisiana Tech University.  I hope all of you are enjoying
the beginning of your summer and getting ready for National Convention.  It
is sure to be an exciting time for growth, networking, fun, and building
the federation.  The reason for this email is to endorse someone who I know
works extremely hard and is very intelligent. This past year, I have had
the pleasure to be a board member for the National Association of Blind
Students. In addition, I co-chair the legislative committee alongside
Michael Ausbun who is running for first vice president of the National
Association of Blind Students. I can’t deny, I think he would be a great
choice.  We have plenty of great people in our organization but while
working with Michael, I have seen his passion and dedication to the
organization.  I know that he will do a fantastic job! He is committed to
giving this organization his all to better the lives of blind students. He
recently graduated with his undergraduate degree at the University of
Nevada before jumping right into training at Louisiana Center for the Blind
to better himself before starting his next journey. In the fall, he will be
attending Louisiana Tech University to become an Orientation and Mobility
Instructor. He is someone I look up to and pushes me to be better person
throughout my Masters degree. For these reasons and many more, I encourage
you to vote for Michael at national convention for first Vice President.  I
hope all of you enjoy your summer to the fullest and I cant wait to see all
of you at national convention!
