Hi,
No, you cannot use another screen reader on the iPad. Out of curiosity, what are you looking to do with the iPad? What do you want to filter out?

I would appreciate some insight and answers to this question, what I be able to find a screen reader to use with an iPad apart from the iPads screen reader/voice over option? I want a screen reader that will give me more control over what it would and would not read. The screen reader option on the iPad is very good, but the control that it affords me is very little.
