[NABS-L] Is Braille Overrated?

Dear Students,

I hope all of you are doing well.  Yesterday my dad met a blind 
student who came into his office to pay their tuition during the 
afternoon rush.  He told my Dad that he tells people that braille 
is overrated.  I think it is importat for all blind children to 
learn to read and write braille.  The use of braille is essential 
for both personal academic and employment success.  What are your 
thoughts on this?
