[NABS-L] My Apologies

All:

I would like to apologize for missing the NABS Membership Committee call last night. I had it scheduled on my calendar, and I was looking forward to the call. However, I decided to take some aspirin and take a little nap before the call, and I didn't wake up until 3 a.m. My friends attempted to call and text me, but my phone was still muted from attending a recital earlier that afternoon.

I offer a sincere apology to Syed for missing the call. He did a lot of advanced planning, and my mistake should not reflect negatively on him. I appreciate him asking me to serve, and we will hopefully be able to work together in the future.

I also apologize to Pattie for leaving her to carry the water alone. I love working alongside her because she brings out the best in me. I am sure she did an excellent job without me.

I apologize to all who were anticipating my participation on the call. I may have been able to add something to the discussion that would have been helpful, but I am hopeful we will have other opportunities to share with one another.

I personally regret not being able to participate because I am usually uplifted and enlightened by participating in NABS events.

I hope you will all accept my sincere apology.
