[NABS-L] Using online dating apps and putting oneself out there

I actually met my partner on a dating app. After we got to know one another I mentioned my blindness. It depends on the situation. Practice safety if you decide to meet in person. I’d meet them in a popular area during the day like a coffee shop. I’d make sure I had transportation and would let friends/family know where I was going, who I’d be meeting and post a selfie of my outfit. Maybe it was a bit overboard, but it’s better to air on the side of caution.
