That’s good that you’re being given programs in which you can use to convert it. However, why not use an application that can read it in EPub for you without having to do all that. There is an app called bookshelf by vital source which primarily has books in EPub format. It is free to download and all you have to do is create an account for free which will allow you to download books directly from the site, and you will be paying for them but they will be 80% less than a traditional college textbook any day. So the payment for your books will be worth it. I have never had accessibility issues with this kind of format in that app. Also, if you have this book from a different source you can import it into the app to read.
