Hi Nina,
I think this is a great topic.
I think the most interesting question I was ever asked, simply for being out of the ordinary, was what the term "sighted" means. I used to think that the word "sighted" tends to be common knowledge, and I still do, because I've only ever been asked by one person. Of course, I know that it's quite possible that others may not know either, but just don't ask.
The most interesting question addressed to my parents about my blindness (my brother and I are both blind) was "How old were they when you got them?" The person asking the question had assumed that because we were both blind but our parents were sighted, then we were adopted. My parents responded by joking about the times of the day we were born. We also commonly get asked if we're twins, although I think this may not necessarily have to do with our blindness because our ages don't match our heights.

We’ve all been there; interesting questions are a great moment to educate others, after all! I personally love when people ask me things because I love to explain and educate. Please, keep your answers PG13 and positive. Thanks so much!
