Aloha Sami,
You mentioned the Student Slate, which was the predecessor to the NABS Notes. We have not published the Student Slate for a good few years now.
Mahalo,

Subject: [NABS-L] Writing for NABS publications
Hi all,
I just returned from studying abroad in Paris, France, and I'd love to tell you guys all about my experience there. I think it would be nice if an article about my experiences could be published in different NFB/NABS publications, such as the NABS Notes, Student Slate, and Braille Monitor, but I'm not sure who I should contact. I know that Gary Wunder is in charge of the Braille Monitor, but not sure about any of the others.
I believe my experience is unique from those of other students, because I arrived in Paris not only being fluent in the language, but also having previously visited the country (I have relatives who live there). I also went to a country that is pretty good accommodating people who are blind, at least from my experiences.
I hope my experiences abroad will be out there soon, and hope you guys can provide me with some contact info.
Thanks for your help and understanding,
Sami
