[NABS-L] Online classes?

I have not used Blackboard as a blind student, so I have no comment on that. However, on how to handle an online class, I have been taking classes online for a long time. My one piece of must do advice is time management and discipline. It’s a great idea to get all the lessons for each week and plan when you are going to complete them. Once you have a plan, stick to it. Its so easy to fall into the trap that you have all day and night to do homework and the like, then all of a sudden, the due date is looming in a few hours.
That's my advice. Hope you do well in all your classes!
Camille

Blackboard is accessible, depending how the professo rsets it up.
My advice is to take time and learn where the lessons and materials are, and before each assignment, locate and save them to your pc.
Put them all in one place, and consider that a goal completed for that day.
If you decide to take all afternoon becaude you have it free, then just take your time, locate your materials, and then get the work donw all at once if you want.
Go to starbucks, or your local coffee shop get a couple of brews and do your thing.

I agree with the above. It's like any other Blackboard course website, except all of the assignments/readings are online.
