[NABS-L] JAWS and excel

Hi Danielle,
Here are steps to get a standard deviation:
0: start excel
1: open a blank workbook. You will be in cell a1
2: type =stdev(a,b,c,d,e,f...) replacing the letters with numbers in your sample and press enter
3: Excel will replace the value in a1 with the result of the calculation.
Note: that is a crude way of doing it but if I had a small sample and just wanted a quick result, that is how I would do it.
Shane

Subject: [NABS-L] JAWS and excel
Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me how to access the calculator functions in excel
using JAWS on a PC? Specifically, how to compute standard deviation?
Thanks,
Danielle
