[NABS-L] Inclusion The Motto

Greetings all,
I just wanted to share something that I've been working on for quite a
while with you all.
It started out as a youtube channel known as "Inclusion The Motto", the
idea behind which was to bridge the gap between blind and sighted, to
empower and educate sited folk on how us blind do various things, to also
hopefully try to reduce some of the not-too-great ideologies they hold
about us, all the stereotypes etc. I often think it is also the lack of
knowledge and not ignorance that may lead to such ideas or encounters.
I have tried to put this message across in all the videos I've uploaded in
an interactive and fun way, often having people on who've had first-hand
experience(either because they themselves are blind and have managed to be
quite successful in life or sighted people directly associated to blind
folk who were able to give a much better insight into how things work and
clear many of the doubts that people have).
My content has always been for everyone to listen to, as some of the tips
given by the blind/VI people I interviewed proved to be  quite useful in
our lives as well, in order to tackle all the challenges that we face on a
daily basis.
However, recently I have started working on a brand new series of sorts
which I think will be especially useful for us folk who rely on screen
readers for our daily life tasks.
So quite often, at least here where I come from, I've come across the
mindset that people seem to have that us blind people cannot tackle higher
level mathematics and science subjects, because they are too graphical,
they cannot be represented with a screen reader accurately enough and
although this may be true to an extent where extremely complicated
geometric figures or graphs are involved, things such as symbols and
equations can be written (and red) just fine.
What is sad is that here, many blind students start believing it as well
and give up on said subjects, dropping them entirely in high school even if
they wish to study them further. Either that, or they end up going for a
scribe(writer) to write their exams for them.
This is exactly what this series intends to improve.
I, myself, am a hundred percent blind student, have been by birth.
Therefore,  I have a reasonably good idea of the challenges that come into
play when doing stem subjects on a computer with screen-reading software.
However, I did not drop them after 10th grade when we usually get to select
the subjects that we intend on pursuing for our final two years of school;
neither did I opt for a scribe. I was interested in them, so I decided to
take that leap into the unknown, as it were.
I am very much happy to say that this is possible, and the technologies
that I got to discover along the way are what I will be showing off in the
series, as they are unfortunately not as well known as they should be.
Therefore, please share the link of the channel around to people that you
know who might be in need of this; technology is improving day by day and
It is my hope that one day us blind kids will be able to safely say that
science and maths subject are completely inclusive and accessible,
something that we can study without hassle along with our sighted
counterparts. However, this also requires determination, as well as
knowledge. Knowledge that I hope to impart from this series, and  the
channel in general.
