[NABS-L] question for users of the Pearl

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a laptop with Windows 10.  I loaded Open Book 9.0 onto it successfully and then plugged in my Pearl camera into it.  When I went to scan a book with it and hit the spacebar to take the picture, it acted like it was trying to take a photo but never did.  I double checked to make sure it was plugged in all the way. It was.

I then checked the device menu of Open Book and the Pearl popped up; Open Book recognized it.

Has anyone encountered this problem?  On my Windows 8 laptop, I have no problem.  I've e-mailed tech support and have yet to hear back from them.
