Hi everyone,
Just a few questions concerning using VoiceOver and a Braille display on a Mac.
First, I notice that when I navigate using standard keyboard commands,
mainly using the arrow keys, my Braille display follows along with
what VoiceOver reads aloud with no issue. If I navigate using
VoiceOver commands, mainly VO keys plus an arrow key, the Braille
display does not generlly follow along with what VoiceOver is reading.
Has anyone experienced this or knows how to fix this issue?
Second, when I open PDFs in Google Chrome, I can only navigate using
VO plus arrow keys. I can not use the arrow keys on their own to
navigate. This means that I generally can't use the Braille display to
read PDFs. Headings and links are displayed, but the resst of the text
is not. How can I navigate PDFs in Google Chrome using the Braille
display.
Third, I can not navigate PDFs in chrome using the arrow keys and
therefore can not select text. How can I select and copy text?
Finally, what do you find to be the most efficient method for viewing
PowerPoints?
Sorry this was kind of long, but thanks in advance for your help.
Danielle
