Hello,
They can also go into the options for the list itself, mailman sends
this out, or you can hit up
https://www.nfbnet.org/mailman/options/nabs-l_nfbnet.org
log in with the subscriber e-mail address and enter the password either
set by the person who originally subscribed, or if necessary hit remind
me to have a knew one generated.
Either way, once logged in, you'll know it, as the first button will be
log out, go find the field that says your name, optional, if anything's
in it, clear it and hit change my address and name, optionally ,check
the change globally checkbox if you want it to take effect across all
nfbnet mailing lists..
This will force the system to use the account name in GMail.
Note, these instructions apply to any subscriber, regardless.
HTH.

>When you create a Gmail account, you get to enter the mailbox name to show up in people's inboxes. I doubt that this is the case because I've received direct emails from the nabs.president at gmail.com account from previous presidents who had changed this setting.
>
>When a person signs up for an NFB mailing list, they type in their name, along with their email address, to subscribe that account to the NFB mailing list. It may be that the mailing list still has the nabs.president at gmail.com address registered with the name of Arielle Silverman, so it's overriding the mailbox name from Gmail to add the name that was used to subscribe the account. If that's the case, a person may want to unsubscribe the account and then resubscribe the account entering a new name in the mailing list signup form.
