Hi everyone,
My university shared the following fellowship information and I thought I would pass it along.
Lindsay
Good Morning,
Please share the information below. This is a great opportunity for individuals with disabilities.
The Longmore Institute on Disability at San Francisco State University is accepting applications for the inaugural cohort of Emerge, a month-long fellowship and workshop for disabled activists, artists, cultural producers, filmmakers, and academics—all made possible by a generous grant from the Mellon Foundation.
The 2023 Emerge cohort will gather at San Francisco State University with an option for virtual participation. They will receive support for working on new projects grounded in scholar-activism, an assigned mentor, and opportunities to meet with the Bay Area’s rich disability arts, rights, and justice organizations. Each fellowship recipient will also receive a $10,000 stipend.
For more information about the fellowship, who we’re looking for, the opportunities included, and answers to frequently asked questions, check out the “call for submissions” page on our website: https://longmoreinstitute.sfsu.edu/news/call-applications-emerge-july-2023-hybrid-disability-studies-workshop-disabled-activists
