Hello everyone. My name is Alysa Massey and I am a graduate student completing my master's thesis at Southeast Missouri State University. We want to collect information from adults who are between the ages of 20 and 30 who are blind or have low vision about their perceptions of assistive technology services and other career services they had during high school, and how their use of assistive technology impacted their independence and quality of life. I am seeking approximately 15 participants to participate in a 45-minute interview. Participants must be between the ages of 20 and 30, participated in special education services in high school, and used assistive technology. Participant involvement is entirely voluntary and requires one 45-minute interview. If you are interested in this study and want more information, please email me at akmassey2s at semo.edu<mailto:akmassey2s at semo.edu>. This study will help provide information on effective collaboration within professionals who serve people who are blind or have low vision.
The study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board of Southeast Missouri State University. If you have any unanswered questions or concerns about your rights as a research participant, contact the Institutional Review Board at irb at semo.edu<mailto:irb at semo.edu> or call Jennifer Bengtson, IRB chair, at (573) 651-2146.

If you have any questions, please contact me or Dr. Jayanti Ray. Thank you for your time!
