[NABS-L] Use of Perusall Software for Class Readings

Hey all,
I hope everyone is staying safe and warm! Has anyone ever used the class reading software Perousall? It is an interactive reading software, which in my case is linked through Canvas. The goal seems to be able to annotate readings collectively with the instructor and other students in the class. I have found it to be inaccessible. I have a Macbook with Voiceover and a desktop with Jaws to use. However, while I can read the text, I am unable to highlight it, leave a comment, or read others’ comments. I was curious if anyone has used this software successfully? I have reached out to my instructor about an alternative, but I’d hate to miss out on the interactive part of the course. Any similar software experiences are welcome, too. Thanks so much. 😊
