[NABS-L] Announcing Our October DARE Call in Celebration of Blind Month

Hello NABS Nation!!





This is Lindsay Adair from your advocacy committee, and I hope you are all
enjoying an amazing start to your October or as we like to say in NABS,
Blind Month!

To celebrate the many achievements of blind people, our committee would
like to invite you to a zoom call on Monday, October 21, at 8:00 p.m.
Eastern standard Time. This call will feature four panelists from diverse
backgrounds who will speak about their experiences with blindness. These
experiences include their achievements and interactions with the National
federation of the Blind and the disability community overall. The panelists
will be responding to questions that sighted people in the community have
about blindness. We will use this call not only to discuss the achievements
of our community but also what steps we can take moving forward.
