Hi everyone,
The Advocacy Committee is so excited and grateful to announce that we’ve
been working in conjunction with Project RISE, a mentoring program based in
Virginia, to create programming for blind students nationwide, and we would
love to invite you to a virtual event being held next Wednesday, October
16, at 7 PM Eastern. This event will focus on cultivating technology skills
and equipping you with information to help you navigate the world of
accessible devices, in addition to discussing which devices specifically
would prove most effective given your individual educational and
professional goals. A link to register, as well as other information about
the event, is provided below. Please contact Joe Orozco at rise at nfbv.org
with any questions, we hope to see you there!
Best,
Kaleigh
