[NABS-L] Pearson My Lab Accessibility

Hi everyone,

I am wondering if anyone can tell me much about the current screen reader accessibility state of Pearson my lab products. One of my required basic courses is a computer concept class that uses a Pearson my lab platform that looks to be a combination of interactive Learning platform and digital textbook, and I remember Pearson being quite the accessibility mess in the past, but I’m not sure how true that is now.

Here is the full title of the specific software package my class will be using if anyone has experience with it or something similar:

MyLab IT with Pearson eText for GO! 2021 with Technology in Action

Most of the class focuses on basic computer skills and Microsoft Office sweet skills, so I’m sure that if I needed to I could work out an alternative mode of assignment completion with the professor, but right now I really just want to know if there’s a reasonable chance I could use the software that everyone else is using. If anyone has recent experience with these kinds of Pearson products you can share, that would be great.

Thanks,
Ellana
