Hey Students and Supporters,

I hope everyone is doing well and excited for the weather to get warmer.
This is Ben Zheng, the president of the Minnesota Association of Blind
Students. On behalf of the Minnesota Association of Blind Students, I want
to invite you to join us for our monthly Thriving Without Sight Zoom
workshop!

This month, we’re diving into a conversation about the National Federation
of the Blind Convention.



When:



Tomorrow, Sunday, March 2, 2025



6:00 to 8:00 PM Central Time



During this session, we will explore a wide range of dimensions of the
annual national convention of the National Federation of the Blind and
offer practical insights on making your convention experience the best it
can be. The webinar will feature:


• Making arrangements for additional disabilities.


•What financial assistance is available and tips and tricks on how to make
attending convention more affordable.


• A discussion on choosing which events to attend during a week with five
awesome things going on at all times.


• Planes, trains, and automobiles: Getting there and getting around



This webinar is not just an opportunity to learn about national convention;
it’s also a chance to connect with other blind students across the nation,
share experiences, and ask the questions that really matter to you.
