Hello,
I have a question for you all. Have any of you ever used Alex in any of
your math courses in college? What would you do when it was asking you to
drag the mouse and draw a graph for a distribution table?
I was working on Alex the other day, thankfully I'm out of the unit we were
in before because it would always ask me questions like that. It had a
review question though from a previous unit we did, and it asked me that.
My professor here at my college has been very understanding. Access and the
whole math department knows about the Alex program not always being
compatible with the screen readers.
There are a few other students on my campus who have used it before as well
who are also visually impaired. I'm one of the few students that uses Jaws.
The others use a mack.
I will say, my experience with Alex has been decent, just the distribution
tables haven't always been my friend. When it's not asking me to drag the
mouse and draw the table, it works! Haha!
Thanks, and just looking for other students who may have used this before.
Sidney
