[NABS-L] DARE Call Tomorrow

Hi NABS Nation!  Are you over Valentine's Day and winter and ready to start
looking ahead to internships and scholarships?  If so, keep reading to hear
the details about the exciting call the Interpersonal Advocacy Task Force
is holding tomorrow.

On February 15th at 8:00 PM EST, NABS  is hosting a call designed to help
you prepare for what’s next.

We’ll start with introductions, then move into a Summer Internship and
Career Readiness Panel.

You’ll hear from students who’ve completed internships as blind students —
how they found them, what skills helped the most, how they managed their
time, and what advice they wish they had before starting.

We’ll also talk about self-advocacy and building professional
relationships, especially if you’re new to internships or career planning.

After that, we’ll host a Scholarship Panel.”

Panelists will share what scholarships they’ve received, how they applied,
what the process was like, and advice for students applying now — including
tips for NFB scholarships.

We’ll wrap everything up with a live Q&A, so you can ask your questions and
get real answers.

So mark your calendars — February 15th at 8:00 PM EST.
