Hello,
We are a team of three undergraduate Computer Science students at UCLA
working on a course project focused on human-computer interaction and
accessible data tools. Our project explores how blind students,
researchers, and their collaborators navigate complex datasets, visual
graphs, and statistical models.
As part of our user research, we are looking to conduct 15 to 20
minute interviews to understand current assistive tool workflows,
where existing software falls short when handling visual or structured
data, and how trends are verified.
Would you or other colleagues be available for a brief Zoom
conversation? We can accommodate these dates and times (PDT):
Friday, Oct 23: 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Saturday, Oct 24: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Sunday, Oct 25: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Monday, Oct 26: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM
If none of those times work or if your schedule is tight, we are also
happy to jump on a call outside these hours, or we can share our 5–6
questions via email for a quicker asynchronous reply.
Thank you for your time and perspective,
Colene, Masha, and Iris
