For margins, press alt-p-s-p, one at a time. This taks you to page setup group box. Then, make sure that you're margins are one inch left, right, top, and bottom. You should select the entire document before doing this to apply it to all of the text.

----- Original Message -----
From: Ashley Bramlett via NABS-L <nabs-l@nfbnet.org>
To: National Association of Blind Students mailing list <nabs-l@nfbnet.org>
Date: 11/01/2017 10:12 PM
Subject: [nabs-l] MLA style and creating headers

Hi all,

For an MLA paper, I was wondering about some formatting. How do you know what margins you have? MLA says 1 inch needed all around. Do you italicize titles of books or other written works in the essay?
Also, how do you insert a running header on the right hand side of the page? I use Microsoft word 2013 and Jaws.

I know header is under the insert tab. From there, what is best to do? If I select blank header, will I be able to type in my last name and number 1 and then the pc knows to number my pages? As you know the header has your last name and numbered pages.

Thanks.

Ashley
_______________________________________________
NABS-L mailing list
NABS-L@nfbnet.org
http://nfbnet.org/mailman/listinfo/nabs-l_nfbnet.org
To unsubscribe, change your list options or get your account info for NABS-L:
http://nfbnet.org/mailman/options/nabs-l_nfbnet.org/jpolansky.nfb%40gmail.com
