My name is Margarita Torres Nowlin, but I go by Margie and am a high school math teacher in Fort Worth, Texas. You may have seen my survey posted by the NFB national headquarters recently. I wanted to reach out to students with vision impairment directly because
I am researching how 2 and 4-year colleges are improving the accessibility of STEM courses for my dissertation in educational leadership. I am hoping current and recent college students will complete this short survey from which I will select at least 10 respondents
for one-on-one interviews. I am offering an incentive to participate by holding two drawings for $50 Amazon gift cards, one for the respondents to the survey, and another for those who participate in interviews. Please consider helping with this research which
could be of benefit for students with vision impairment by posting it or emailing it. I hope to get this in the hands of as many college students as possible to learn about their experiences in STEM courses in college. More information is in the survey description.
