Mardi,
Why not take Nala with you sometimes when it is good for her.  She'll be 
happy.  I think if Nala gets some work, she'll not mind it so much when you 
take Wanagi.  I think she will soon discover that she is ready to really 
retire.  She probably doesn't think she is really ready to hang up the 
harness for good yet.  I know of other people who have done this with their 
retired guides and it works out really well.  I did that with one of my 
retired guides.

Good luck and hope that ends the fights!
