Dear Cheryl,

Thank you for sending  this article to the list. It's an interesting case 
since the article states that the woman is living at the hotel while 
renovations are being made to her home.

Even though Indiana law grants equal access to trainers, this right is only 
for public access, not for housing. Courts have recognized a distinction 
between transient lodging and extended stay lodging. It could very well be 
that the woman does not have the right to have a service dog in training if 
she has arranged to be living at the hotel for an extended stay. Neither 
federal or Indiana state fair housing laws offer equal access to trainers.
