Hi Marion,

I think that in most places, the vet  issues you a rabies tag, and the
municipality issues you a separate license tag.

    In Hillsborough County (Tampa, Florida) where I live, licensing and 
rabies tags are one in the same. I guess I assumed that this was so 
everywhere. Can you tell me what the difference is between licensing and 
rabies tags where you live?
