Hi Gary,

Just FYI, Leader Dogs also trains poodles.  You do have a long wait with
them also though, because they don't have a breeding stock of poodles, they
take them as donations.  They do not do poodle/lab crosses at all because
they found them to be too unstable temperament wise, like Jenine was saying.
A good friend of mine has a Leader Dog poodle, and he's a really nice dog
from all she says about him.  I haven't actually met her dog because they
live in Michigan and I'm from Minnesota.  This lady became a good friend of
mine during my last class at Leader.  Let me know if you want to correspond
with her, I'm sure she'd be happy to talk to you about her poodle boy.
