Hi all,

thanks to those who replied asking how im doing after the drunk broadsided me in march.

It has been very dificult, painful and put an end to my plans for the spring, summer , and however long...

it is very stressfull and causes lots of anxiety and increase in pain when i have to go in car anywhere.

I am terrified now of being hit again, intersections, people nosing out of driveways et.. all scare me.

I am very angry that this idiot drove while revolked as part of a criminal parol condition for his prior dui's.

It looks as though the states atty office is making him a deal , he pays a 900 fine and is free to try to do it to someone else.

my dog was traumatized by the accident also, we were shoved accross an intersection sideways (not the way tires are ment to go)

as we were broadsided in drivers door. much of the medical stuff has been way worse than my original disabliing injuries 14 years ago.

not to mention now im in a rural area where most of my medical treatment is a minimum 2 - 4 hour round trip out of state.. then when

they send me back home to follow up with my local primary care (only 45 min each way) they have no one to send me to for the suggested

treatments... HOW much different is this than when i just had to hop on a train to be at the HSS in NYC for my original disability's medical treatments.

Ive really been regretting leaving metro area and moving to the sticks of new england.

The medical bills are covered by my insurance, but the gas $ to drive hundreds of miles per week for treatment is killing me. today i had to deal with a shut off note from my electric company cause im using my utility money to buy gas to get to drs & hospitals...

Im hanging in there, its not easy but sure beats the alternative...

prayers are greatley appreciated for healing and financial stress from the additional expenses.

I am truly greatful that i have my wonderful service dog... last week when i had to drive to a hospital over 2 hours away, i got there unable to stand due to car induced pain..

i sat in a hospital wheelchair and was not able to propell it due to my limited use of arms and no strenth in them.. my dog never saw me in a chair before, I told him to "go ahead" and then with voice told him a good pace and he maintained it and pulled me in the wheel chair to the other end of the hospital where my appointment was. after appt he pulled me back to the parking garage exit ! He is an amazing boy! so intuitive and a quick study!

I know there is a God cause that's how the dislexis folks spell dog!
