I can't leave Fiher behind in my office, so I don't even bother with a cane 
at work. I don't feel the need to rehearse fcane use because I used a cane 
so successfully for so long before I ever had a dog. Of course, I will admit 
it takes a few minutes to adjust, but really not long. From time to time, 
though, I do go without the dog. If I went caroling tomorrow night with the 
folks from Bob's church, I would likely leave Fisher home.
