Well, our media says that this story is not true. The cats may have had 
something else. When that news story was circulating, vets here in Iowa said 
it was not likely inany case.

Just to chime in quickly, there was a confirmed case in Iowa back in
November of a cat that contracted H1N1, but also 2 ferrets who did not
survive.  Here is a little more on this from Nov. 5 as I had just looked it
up.  It was a little concerning as this occurred not too far down the might
Misses-sloppy from where I live here in Wisconsin.
