Yes, you are absolutely correct.

I had mentioned that in a previous post to KL, but didn't think about it in 
this message.  thanks for mentioning it!

In order to be able to owner train a guide dog, you really have to have very 
good orientation skills.  If you don't know where you're at or how to get 
where you want to go, there is no way that you can teach those skills to the 
dog.   There is so much that could be said, but I need to get ready for 
work.

Someday I should write a book...*sigh*...I think it might be a while!
