[nagdu] water for the dog when out in public

Amen.

I have also taught my dogs to drink out of a paper cup so that I can give
them a drink just about anywhere if I have forgotten my collapsible water
dish. Also, I have been able to get a cup of water in a place when there
wasn't a fountain or source of running water. I also, never, let my dog
drink from the toilet, as I have heard of users doing. You never know what
chemicals are used to clean it for one thing and for another is not terribly
nice for the next person to use the toilet as dogs are sloppy.

Two cents worth from Joy and Belle.--less from Belle.

While some of you dog owners will probably get on
me, I think having your dog use a water fountain
intended for use by humans is totally
inappropriate. As a blind person how can you
know for sure what she touches and doesn't
touch. You could get those disposable bowls
others talk about and fill them at the fountain.
