[nagdu] water for the dog when out in public

And, incidentally, you don't know where the noses and mouths of the people
who drank from the fountain were either.

Yes, it's gross to let a dog drink from a fountain that a human will use.
Remember folks - you don't always know where your dog's nose and mouth has
been (grin!). And germs can be spread to humans.

I use a small metal bowl, a fold up fabric bowl, or a new one I got. It's
made by RubberMaid and it has a cover that snaps on. The sides look like an
accordian so you can collapse the bowl flat and open it out to feed or water
your dog. It is a good size for our dogs. You can open it out, put food in
and cover it for the dog to eat later.

Has anyone seen this bowl? Someone gave it to me and I haven't had a chance
to find out where she got it at.

I don't let my dog drink from a drinking fountain either. I give Myrtle
water with my callapsable bowl or a paper cup. I prefere the callabsable
bowl because Myrtle tries to eat the paper cup sigh.
