Hi Marion, Neither GDB nor Freedom Guide Dogs (a school in New York) transfers ownership upon graduation. If I remember correctly GDB allows you to apply for ownership after a year. As for freedom according to the GDUI survey you never own your dog. HTH Meleah with Calvin
