I agree Marion. When I first got Lou he would sit in front of me and groan 
or something like that and when I would respond by reaching out to him he 
would react.  I think now it is a more natural act. I think he has only 
barked 4 times in the three years I have had him. which is great I think. 
When he did we always told him quiet and he now knows not to bark uselessly.
