Hi every one, Julie, There has been much discussion on another list I
am on dealing with pets that have food allergies. There are several dog
foods that have a fish and sweet potato base that seem to work well . Flint
River seems to be the most popular one used.Acidophiles seems to be very
helpful also. My dogs had a gas problem when I tried to feed them the Sam's
Club brand as some one told me it was a good food for the price. Well I am
back to using Purina One beef and rice and my dogs no longer have the
problem, and they seem to like it better than any thing else I have tried.
The food that the rescue provides for my foster dog is any thing that gets
donated. I just mix it all together and hope that these dogs don't get sick
as I am the one cleaning up after them.So far they have been alright ,but I
don't feed my own dogs any of this food. Good luck and try the Flint River
Trout and Sweet potato diet. I think it may help as it seems to help a lot
of other dogs. Have a great day, Mardi, and Nala,semi-retired
