Hi Jen,
I didn't know that GDB worked with deaf/blind.  Hey great!  I got a kick out 
of your dog's name of "Nixon".  Made me think of Richard "I am not a crook!" 
Nixon who resigned the Presidency in 1974 after the Watergate debacle. I 
remember al that very well! (grin!)

Welcome to the list.  I live in San Diego, California with my eighth guide, 
"Landon", a red Lab/Golden cross from The Seeing Eye.  I currently do 
volunteer work - dog related - at the Naval Medical Center of San Diego and 
at the SD Humane Society.  There's not much opportunity for paid work here. 
In the summer, I plan to move back to Vermont to find work and be with my 
boyfriend.
