[nagdu] Impressions Please?

Cindy,

Good point. At the dog park, everyone else can see where my dog poops, so
someone will tell me about it if I don't catch her in the act. I know
sometimes I don't know when or where she went, and so make it a point to
pick up the little surprises I find with my feet to sort of keep the
accounting even. /smile/

I've tried teaching Mitzi "show me the poop," but I'm too embarrased to make
a big deal about that with people around. I need to go back and rework it.

I agree with all this, but the question still remains: If your dogs are all
running in a fenced yard, how do you know if your dog pooped out there. I
would be willing to pick up after mine, wouldn't want it any other way, but
how do your supervise that if the dog is running. Even if they go to the
marked off relief area, that doesn't mean they won't poop again when they
get to playing with those other dogs and get into all that stimulation. And
no, I think we all have differing abilities and need to be careful about
snooty, but this is a common courtesy.

Hi Joy!

I thought your guest behaved inappropriately. It is your home, and you
certainly do have the right to ask people to pick up after their dogs.
People should be doing that as a mmatter of course.
