Hello,
I have a question for all of you,
Now I have written to the folks where I got my dog from, to get tips
before coming to you.
It seems, during the winter months it is harder for me to get a ride to mass.
The excuse is no one wants the dog in the car.
Fine, it is their cars.
I can't walk to mass during the winter any more with the second health
problem I have.
the busses don't run on weekends during the time of mass.
they stop at one.
If I took the van there, I still would need a ride home.
When I was crying, there were six persons asking if they could take me
home with the dog.
I am to be understanding insurance is to expensive for them to pay and
get a van for seniors and disabled for the winter months.
Yet this is to be my parish
How would you handle the problem.
I am going back to the school for training, where I wouldn't do this,
but lets say I decide to leave the dog there.
and come home with just the cane.
Everyone would ask where is your dog.
Why did you do this.
Traveling with my dog is what I wish to do.
If I am not allowed to take a stand, where do we as owners of dogs say
this isn't correct/
Do we just let folks walk over us because they can?
I can't even get a commitment from anyone so I couldn't say if I would
leave my dog home or not.
How do you folks get around this problem?
I don't wish to press charges, but feel something has to be done.
Just thought I would ask.
Thanks.
