Yeah, how are you finding people? 
Have you offered to put a mat or towel down for your pup? 
And, if a large number of people in the church don't want your dog
there, and you want to bring your dog, why are you going to *this*
perish? 
Lastly, have you asked someone you trust to tell you why people might
not want your dog? Something going on you may be unaware of? Then,
listen, really listen to what is said and figure out if and how you want
to respond.

There's also the good old reliable cabs. Granted, may not be the
cheapest, but that might also depend on how far you have to go and how
often. If it's once a week and there's nothing else available, then cabs
might be a good option. Have you checked with other people at mass to
see if someone there might be able to take you to and from?
