I know of a trainer who was workingwith a guide dog team in a church.
Everything went ok until the preacher came out. The guide dog team were
ordered out of the building. Trainer was then called by church's lawyer and
said that the church was a privately owned building so the ADA didn't
apply. I don't know where this church is located, but was amazed when I
heard that. So was the trainer!!!! Upon hearing this, the guide dog team
switched churches and have had no trouble since as far as I know.
