If you're using JAWS, you can set the keyboard layout, in the basic
settings of the options menu in the JAWS window, to laptop. Not only
does this allow you to use either laptop or desktop keystrokes, but it
also prevents you from accidentally turning Caps Lock on, since you
have to hit Caps Lock twice to turn it on or off. I have mine set this
way on both my home and work computers, and it has greatly reduced the
accidental capitols, as well as giving me more keystrokes to work
with. IN essense, you get the best of both worlds. After all, it's
easier to hit Caps Lock T to read the title bar, verses Insert T.
