[nagdu] Keeping hold of that leash

Lexia's never managed to get all the way out of the harness, but she did get
her legs tangled when she was a little younger. I must say, you have quite
the escape artist. I honestly do not know how a dog could get out of a
harness like that without hooking it on something and backing out.

Both of my dogs have managed to unharness themselves. Yani is especially
good at this. Once this past summer, I left my internship and went home (I
was living in a building across a courtyard from where I was working) to get
my BrailleNote in
preparation for a meeting. Since I wasn't going to be there for very long, I
didn't unharness Yani. While I was getting my BrailleNote, I heard a strange
combination of sounds in the living room, but I honestly didn't think much
of it. (I should have
known better.) Then, a minute later, I went to the door and called Yani to
me. She happily pranced over, sans harness. Considering that the TSE harness
had a martingale, this was a pretty impressive feat! My return to work was
delayed while I
searched for the thing. Fortunatley, I lived in a very small apartment.
(grin) I found it, with all of its buckles still buckled, in the middle of
the living room floor. I'm sure Yani just thought I'd simply forgotten to
take it off when we got home. She was happy
enough to put it on and go back to the office.

Angie
