Subject: [nagdu] A proud day

Hi folks,
with much talk on this list how to keep the leash with you, I have a story
to tell.
First of all my dog has class just like mama.
We went to a funeral, where coming out of the building, he was walking over
to the limo for a ride.
I shared my dog has class just like mama.

But this time we will walk home.
With the temps at twelve degrees I wanted to make sure I would be ok.
So I was quite bundled up.
Taking the leash in my rite hand, and holding the harness with my left I did
the small three jerks hearing the chain sliding threw the collar.
As I did this, I kept saying steady.
We got home just fine.
No pulling on the handle of the harness, and he was listening to every word
I was saying.
I am pleased to say I didn't fall.
But I sure made sure I was careful walking on the snow.
It will be three years ago this summer I took my horrible fall.
If I ever fall like that again, I could damage myself to where I couldn't
walk.
so this was a big thing for me.
Just wanted to share.
