A hands free leash is one that allows you to attach it to yourself so that
you don't have to hold onto it. Some people will fasten the leash around
their waists; others sling it over one shoulder. Good way to keep an
adventurous dog from getting into 5 kinds of trouble while you're trying to
pay for your pack of gum. /smile/ It can also be nice for casual long
leash walks with your dog, especially for those of us who need one hand for
a long white cane. I have sighted friends who use hands free leashes on
their walks just for the convenience.
